Super 8 WomenThe Super 8 women are a very social group who are just keen to have a go at cricket and have fun doing it. We have a team entered in both divisions of the Super 8 competition on Saturday afternoons . The games are 30 overs per innings (8 a-side) and usually last about 3.5 hours. Everyone gets a chance to bowl (if they want to!) and bat. We have practices on Monday evenings at Kelburn Park (near the University) and even have coaches from the Senior Men's team to help. Our team 'home' ground is Melrose Park (behind the Zoo) which has an artificial pitch. We play teams throughout the City, Hutt and Porirua areas. We're always looking for new players - even if you just want to have a go we would love to hear from you. |
