3 November 2007
Finally a nice day, well the start of the day was fine, then rain came at the end of the day which ended the Bilevels chance of victory against the Sikhs.  Batting first the Bilevels batted first scoring 296 with Tighe Nutsford scoring 159* and Abo scoring 50.  The Sikhs were 213-7 when the game was called off.  The Senior sides had a much better day than last weekend.  The Hazlett side thrashed Collegians by 8 wickets, bowling them out for 77 (Luke Woods 4-18).  The Senior 3 side beat Taita by 116 runs with Hamish Evans scoring an outstanding 85.  Mixed results for the ladies.  The Sec 1 side lost to Collegians by 44 runs, but the Sec 2 side beat J'Ville by 63 runs with K Lynch staring with the bat scoring 52*.  The other one day social sides had good wins.  The Stubbies just beating Karori by 1 wicket and the Indomitables beating Norths by 76 runs.  N Booth scoring 63 with the bat.  The Stallions were the star team amongst the two day sides beating Easts by 4 wickets.  The outstanding achievement of the day was Greg Martin taking 7-17.  The Entertainers playing their first game in the 2D grade unfortunately lost to Norths by 122 runs.  The Demons also lost to Norths by 93 runs.  The Vengance lost to J'Ville by 2 wickets and the Tamils just lost to Easts by 1 wicket.  S Silva scoring 56* with the bat.

27 October 2007
Well this day must have been the coldest day to play cricket in Wellington for many years.  The 2B Demons were the luckiest team by having the bye in their grade.  The 2A Tamils, 2B Vengance, 2D Entertainers and the Super 8 (Sec 2) ladies all had their games called off because of rain.  The two senior sides had a day to forget, both losing by 5 wickets, the Hazlett side being bowled out for 90 and the Senior 3 side being bowled out for 83.  Enough said about that.  The 1B Mongolians in their first game of the season lost by 57 runs to Easts.  The 1A Bilevels in their first game for the club lost to J'Ville with former Senior player Tighe Nutsford scoring 80*.  However on a brighter note the 2A Stallions beat Onslow by 3 wickets with Graham Mann taking 5-29 in the win.  The Super 8 (Sec 1) ladies had a great win over Stokes Valley with M Chhagan scoring 66 with the bat.  The 1A Indomitables  scored a good first up win against the Sikhs by 30 runs.  R Ryan shone with the bat scoring 51.  The 1B Stubbies also had good start to the season with a 7 wicket win against Easts.

22 October 2007
Two sides played on Labour Day.  The Hazlett side had a hard fought loss to J'Ville by 1 wicket.  Scoring 152, J'Ville reached the target 9 down with Matt Sanders taking 5-12 with the ball.  The Senior 3 side bounced back from the loss on the Saturday with a 161 run win against Easts.  Batting first the Senior 3 side scored 242-8 with Tommy Gordon scoring 81 and Geoff Willmott scoring 56.  Easts were bundled out for 56 with Adrian Fong taking 4-23.

20 October 2007
Once again a terrible week of weather, that meant grades 2B and below were cancelled.  Two wins and two losses for the teams that played.  The Hazlett side beat Taita by 35 runs in a rain reduced target.  Simon Thomas shone with the ball with 4-5.  The Stallions had a easy 7 wicket win over Collegians with Liam Wealleans scoring 81*.  The hard luck story goes to the Senior 3 side who bowled Petone out for 116 (Adrian Fong 4-19) and were 56-3 when the rain came.  The result of the match was eventually decided by Cricket Wellington on a count back.  The Senior 3's losing by 1 run on count back.  The Tamils were the other side that played, going down by 9 wickets to Karori.

13 October 2007
The first day of the season.  Well what a fizzer.  Only the Hazlett side was scheduled to play against Wainuiomata at Churton Park.  Well the game was cancelled on Thursday due to all the grounds in Wellington and the Hutt Valley being closed.
